JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/ Objective

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly versatile, capable of managing a wide range of design-related tasks, including branding, marketing materials, social media graphics, website assets, and video production/editing.

You will be responsible for creating compelling visuals that align with our brand identity while supporting various departments with high-quality designs. This role requires expertise in graphic design, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in video editing tools.

Essential Functions

  1. Perform any duties as assigned by the line manager, ensuring all design-related tasks are completed effectively and creatively.
  2. Assists in creating visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, marketing materials, and advertisements.
  3. Supports video editing and production of basic video content for promotional campaigns and presentations.
  4. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute innovative design concepts that align with the brand’s vision.
  5. Ensures all design projects adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms.

Competencies

  • Expertise in creative design and concept development, with the ability to generate unique, impactful ideas.
  • Strong presentation skills to clearly communicate concepts and designs to stakeholders, effectively managing project feedback and workflow.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision. Experience with prototyping software is highly valued.
  • Basic understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, WordPress, and responsive mobile design. Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience in photography, illustration, video editing, and motion graphics using tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar software is a strong advantage.

Roles and Key KPIs

  • Deliver all social media and campaign materials according to the Marketing calendar.
  • Design and provide layouts for dashboards, mobile apps, and other digital interfaces as required.
  • Ensure the brand’s strengths and visual identity are conveyed through product interfaces, enhancing user experience and supporting conversion goals.
  • Transform business objectives, product requirements, and research insights into user-friendly, highly intuitive designs.
  • Create UI/UX designs for tech products, emails, websites, mobile apps, landing pages, and microsites.
  • Develop storyboards, wireframes, layouts, and visual assets tailored to a range of personas and audiences.
  • Continuously improve design skills by researching popular products across different industries to stay at the forefront of design trends.
  • Design social media content that builds connections and motivates entrepreneurs and merchants to sign up for our services.
  • Collaborate to maintain a consistent look, voice, tone, and brand message across all platforms and markets.
  • Manage day-to-day design activities and ensure regional alignment in all visual content.
  • Produce videos and animations that support brand awareness and sales objectives within the region.
  • Develop standardized templates for presentations, business cards, and letterheads to ensure brand consistency.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

These are full-time positions, and regular hours of work and days are Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 am to

However, this position will require long hours and frequent weekend work.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in related field, BFA / Diploma in Fine Arts from reputed institute or any certified course in graphic designing, UI & UX design
  • 2-5 years of experience working as a UI Designer in an ecommerce, tech-product, or software company
  • BASIC/FOUNDATION SKILLS: Knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • ADVANCE SKILLS: Audio Video , Visual Design skills including Adobe Premier Pro for example.
  • Ability to create animations, gifs, infographics, and timeline graphics.
  • Ability to follow brand identity guidelines to deliver premium visuals and artworks Web/mobile UI designs.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite, photoshop and other design software
